Official Map Reveal!

Hey all!

I’m very excited to reveal our first official map - showing the major settlements and islands of the continents of Fjorung and Archos!

This is the map that will be used for all books and short stories set in this world for the foreseeable future.

This map took quite a lot of work to put together. The first draft of the map (really just the shorelines and some city names) was actually the first thing I did as part of The Whispering Depths. I threw it together to have an idea of geography in the story, and the rest came from there. Since then there have been revisions, re-drawings, and complete redesigns. It’s been a long time in the making, but I’m very happy with the final result.

This map will be included in both the e-book and paperback editions of The Whispering Depths, as well as any other published works set in this world. It may go through alterations or different versions as time goes on, but the underlying geography and key features will remain intact. It’s also worth noting that these are only the MAJOR settlements and islands. There are hundreds of small towns, villages, isles, and forests throughout the continent, these are only the largest landmarks. For example, Seaview, a small city on the western coast of Fjorung is still significantly larger than a village. It is an established city, with walls and a central keep and a port.

So that’s it for this week. I’m very excited to unveil this, as I’ve been working on it for some time.
